musician. When Roopa Revathi’s parents sent for vocal and violin classes in her childhood, they were trying to sketch a future for her with music but the young girl had little interest. But today as Roopa caresses the strings, her emotive playing makes us envy her mastery over the violin. She is learning Carnatic music under P Unnikrishnan and violin under Embar Kannan.
